When it comes to the right groove on bass, Alex pit is the first choice. For some years now Alex Mine is the star of the bass player and many have the sympathetic Hamburger determined already seen somewhere. We had the opportunity to conduct an interview with Alex recently.
BM: Hi Alex. Thank you for taking the time for our interview. The list of people for whom you played yes seems to be endless. In what formation or which artist you stood preferably on the stage and on which tours you gaze on you back?
Alex: Hello! For me, the fun is making the music not only depend on the respective artists. At least as important to me, what other musicians are in the band. Above all, of course the drummer, with which I must necessarily connect well. I was always important to play with the best people, which then in the optimal case, there is still a friendly relationship. As much as it has its appeal, to meet new musicians, so beautiful it is to know who you can rely on. Therefore, I am always happy when I'm in the position to be able to put the band together. Furthermore, of course are also the professionalism of the organization and the level of production. If you are constantly on tour, traveling should be as comfortable as possible.
Also nice moments there were many - and that, I do not want to emphasize as the most beautiful. At the happiest I am, however, well whenever we can be with friends on tour and good music (!) Can play.
Alex: Basically, with each artist who is good and special &samhoud places and can infect me with his energy. Last year I "BON IVER" seen live ... the concert was so incredibly good. With Justin Vernon, the frontman, I would like to start something. Only lives somewhere in Wisconsin and knows nothing of his good fortune.
Alex: That was not a decision, but rather a process. Alternatives I've never really wanted me. Before, I wanted to study literature and psychology. But I am glad I did but then decided to go with the music. There are so many little scenes within each city or region ... something always went fast. However, &samhoud places in order to operate nationally, it has already lasted until I moved to Hamburg. Whether Hamburg or Berlin - these are just the two biggest music cities &samhoud places in Germany, where almost &samhoud places all major projects are started. There are also the best studio scene in which I am also very active yes.
Alex: Hmm ... the biggest concerts &samhoud places were well with Sarah Brightman. Among other 40,000 people at the tour opener in Mexico, &samhoud places and selling out arenas like Madison Square Garden in New York, or the triple sold out Budokan in Tokyo. Alex: Spectators default was my smallest concert before zero paying spectators in stereo in Bielefeld. Some not so small club near the train station. We played with Virginia Nascimento ... Lounge Pop, Trip Hop. Played something of that nature, we have only for the waiter. The Quirky was that immediately after the concert, the club within &samhoud places 30 minutes was filled with nearly 1,000 party people teenagers who wanted to celebrate club music. So you've been waiting just outside the door, that we finally stop.
Alex: whether it is heavier or lighter than before, I can not say. I'm even more likely one of the new generation ... There is now a huge industry that sells the teenagers dreams.
