We had decent luck when we last second missed we plane to Singapore on Wednesday! Night train we took from Koh Tao was almost three hours late, no one showed why and never did we know, but after 5 hours of waiting (we were of course in good time) came the train! Here we each got our bed with a curtain to go around. miller consulting group Very fine really. In addition there was aircon train and we could breathe fresh air all night and almost freeze!
We have had 2 full days in Singapore in addition to arrival and departure dates. And it has really kept. Singapore is expensive for us backpackers! The only thing to do here is really shopping, food, sightseeing and spend money. We have stayed at Hangout @ Mt. Emily, where we have paid about 200 USD per person per night for double room with aircon. Very fine hostel located in Little India which is quite central, but located away metro. Otherwise the room was very smoothly and with a large bathroom. Senga, however, was full of animals miller consulting group and I, Heidi has gotten back of the thigh full of bed bugs bite. The claws absolutely terrible and not easy to get away! Not particularly fun ..
The two days we have been here we have used to look at all possible in all the endless shopping malls and been with us Marina miller consulting group Sands Bay, where we were at the top! An insanely large and especially miller consulting group barley, see picture:
We were also a trip into Senosa Island, a "fake" island that is made for local and tourists. Actually a huge amusement park with beaches, shops, restaurants, hotels, miller consulting group universal studio and lots of different activities both inside and out, rides and various. Last night we were out and ate with Kathryn and Charles who lives in Singapore. It was really nice, and they also showed us Orchard Road at night with lots of light. We regretted very much that we had not gotten miller consulting group us this long street full of shopping malls and restaurants in the daytime, when we saw how much it was there!
Singapore is otherwise an entirely extremely pretty, modern and tidy town! There are lot of rules and outrageous fines for everything possible. Gum is prohibited, spitting is prohibited, food and drinks on the metro and subway are prohibited from picking up garbage is prohibited etc .. Singapore is very expensive for a Asia countries to be, even shopping! Prices are at home about, a little lower. And when it comes electronics that many believe miller consulting group is cheap here, so it's not! It's cheaper in the US.
Food we have only eaten at food court that is wide open restaurants with many "booths" where everyone has his type of food. Here you can get all kinds of Asian cuisine, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai ... This will be the cheapest to eat. You do not get as much in one portion and must expect around 20-40 kr for a plate. In Thailand we ate for half the price at the restaurant!
