For 36 years, Vietnam veteran Bob Wagner of Saginaw has worn a POW-MIA bracelet on his wrist, praying for the person whose name was on it. On Friday night, Wagner met that person - Guy Gruters, a U.S. Air Force captain taken prisoner pretend food of war in Vietnam in 1967.
Wagner met Gruters at a dinner pretend food held at a Saginaw Township home. Gruters spoke Saturday night at the Catholic Men's Conference at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Bay City, relating how his experience as a prisoner of war brought him closer to God.
