Steve Sharra (SSH): To start, tell us something about you. What is Linda Annan? You have the same last name as a world-renowned citizen of Ghana, former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan. Do you have a relationship with him?
Linda Annan (LA): I am a Ghanaian journalist and communications specialist with a passion for politics lecg consulting and activism that includes women and children providing power and other social work related to Africa. No, I'm not related to Kofi Annan, although both are of the same ethnic group, Fante.
LA: I always had a desire to move to Ghana at some point in life, the question was when would it be? This year seemed real because my projects lecg consulting failed, and Ghana is now ready for the projects I want to start. lecg consulting Also, the goal, as they began Obasema was to launch in Ghana and other African countries. Now is the time to take that step. What I'm doing now: I work as an associate consultant in a company for integrated marketing communications.
LA: Thank you. He started the magazine a few months after I graduated college. Overall, I want to inspire and encourage people and because I believe in the power of words and I'm really interested in women's issues, this was the only means he had the sense to take to achieve these goals. Sharing knowledge is one thing that I enjoy and online magazine was a great platform to do that. Also, after graduation, lecg consulting we discern the need for a platform that will provide an encouraging and inspiring message for young African women like me and through multiple channels. Because this was something you strongly desire in my life at that point, and knew women would appreciate it and would benefit, I decided to create a magazine Obasema, lecg consulting the name "Obasema" has great weight. The language in Ghana, Twi, translates as "ideal woman", lecg consulting ie woman who grew to love the wife and I want to invite every woman aspires lecg consulting to. No matter what it is "idealana" should definitely be something deep in fact.
LA: The target audience of African Obasema a woman, although everyone would agree that women's issues transcend lecg consulting borders. lecg consulting Our readers are not only African women and women of African descent. We have a global online audience. Obasema woman can be the one that is located in a high position in a corporate environment and brings the most significant decisions or may be an artist who creates his nice handicraft or woman in the village who did not know their rights. All these women need encouragement and allocation of power at different levels in order to grow into women who were also created. Here's when Obasema tactics. I openly say that we managed to achieve Obasema main mission, which is to inspire and encourage, though, of course, need more work. Through feedback from our audience, we know that people are challenged to connect and fight for things that matter, whether it is to connect with other people, connecting lecg consulting with ourselves and realizing that dream. lecg consulting I warm the heart when I see that our contribution to society go away.
LA: I found Global voisis online in 2009, I find it amazing the news source. I liked the diversity in the HR team and wanted to become part of it. Wrote political articles where Ghana was the focus. I was able to contribute some time, but expect to do so soon active.
LA: I'm lecg consulting pretty confident as I mentioned earlier, I want to share knowledge with people. "Abbey spiks" is another platform that I use to do it. Allows me to freely express my thoughts without any restrictions, such as in Obasema, which is still the official publication. Also "Abbey Village
